Shared Horizons

We open three new exhibitions in the Gallery and across the Museum for March and April. The three exhibitions offer differing aspects of life in the county.

Robert Parkin - The Land Remains features a new group of landscape reliefs which document the artists journey through the landscape. These works re-present the actual materials of the land as art, in a series of large scale reliefs.
Alan Clark - Life on a Ryedale FarmAlan Clark presents a selection of photographs from his ongoing documentation of the day-to-day life of a farms in the Ryedale area

Shared Horizons - A touring exhibition by Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Shared Horizon features work by fifteen young people from Kurdistan, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Senegal and Gambia. The exhibition showcases work from a photography project for 14–18 year old unaccompanied asylum seekers living in Wakefield, Barnsley and Kirklees.
